The event

Driver training on the popular race track in Lorraine. Much like the Anneau du Rhin, the track is surrounded by lush greenery, but offers more generous run-off areas and even more corners of all radii. On this circuit, good handling is more important than engine power. This makes it an ideal training track for perfect cornering technique. There is no pit lane here, but there is plenty of space, even for trailers. Unlike most other tracks, camping or staying overnight in a motorhome is also permitted here.

Driver safety training is open to a maximum of 24 vehicles of all makes per group. Only road-legal and insured vehicles are permitted.

We’ll be driving in two groups, taking turns, so there’s plenty of driving time for everyone. No track experience is required. Beginners are welcome.

Entry fee

Club members: 360,- euros
without membership 400,- euros

Several drivers can share a vehicle. However, a charge of €35 applies for each additional passenger. Total driving time: 3.5 hours, divided into 45-minute slots. Maximum of 24 vehicles per group.

Catering

We’ll have a tarte flambée van on site. Every driver will receive a voucher. We’ll be offering free cold drinks and coffee. There’s also a petrol station on site with reasonable prices for our cars.

Procedure

We recommend arriving the day before. This time we’ll be staying at the Brit Hotel Luneville, about 15 minutes’ drive from the course.

However, there are also several other hotels in the area. The previously recommended Hotel Logis Le Relais Vosgien has become too expensive. Distribution of race packs for those who have already arrived. Group dinner at the hotel in a convivial atmosphere.

On the day of the race: Meet at the race track from 8:00 am. Participants who were not present the evening before will now be given their race numbers. Transponders are not required in Chenevieres.

During the first session of each group, guided laps are organised. Instructors are on hand throughout the day to ride along if requested or to offer further guided laps. We use special helmets with built-in radio systems to communicate whilst riding.

Volume

Note: Maximum noise level: 95 dB. Normally, there are no issues with noise levels in Chenevieres provided a standard exhaust system is fitted. However, excessively loud vehicles may be excluded at an early stage.
