Notes on Execution
This is what you can expect from us:
In which language do we conduct the event?
Our events are held in German. However, personal instruction and support in English is also possible without any problems.
What is the schedule for the day?
Although our race track events are expressly not for achieving top speeds, but solely for optimizing vehicle control, the achievable pace is significantly higher than that of other driver safety training courses.
Usually, after a detailed theoretical safety briefing at the beginning, you drive behind the instructor to get to know the ideal line. Later on, the participants are allowed to drive independently. However, instructors are available on request for questions and practical tips.
For on-board coaching, we use helmets with integrated "hands-free" radio.
Does the event take place in all weather conditions?
Basically yes. Unfortunately, many race tracks are located in areas with rather unstable weather.
Our events are for perfecting vehicle control, and that includes driving in the rain.
In extreme conditions such as fog, snow or heavy rain, the track can be temporarily closed by the track operator. Downtimes are beyond our control and do not constitute a reason for complaint.
Where can I refuel?
There is usually an (expensive) automated petrol station at the track. As a rule, only EC card payment is possible. There are usually public petrol stations near the track. Leaving the site to refuel is possible without any problems.
What is the right clothing?
Helmet
First of all, a helmet is definitely required. (Jet helmet, motorcycle helmet or racing helmet)
We have a limited number of rental helmets. Please inquire early if required.
Clothing
Long clothing is mandatory, as well as comfortable, narrow, non-slip shoes. Of course, a racing suit with driver's shoes is advisable for frequent training sessions.
Depending on the weather, the onion look is recommended. Bring spare (under)shirts, you will sweat.
Tracks like Spa and the Nürburgring are often a few degrees colder than expected. A windbreaker is always advisable.
Is there catering?
We usually offer lunch on site. For more detailed information, please see the details of the respective events.
Is there technical support for problems with the vehicle?
Yes, if possible. However, we do not have a workshop vehicle.
We have air pressure gauges and a compressor to be able to refill tires.
Am I allowed to take pictures?
Photography or videos are of course possible and desired.
